"The innovative concept of Designer Panels that attach quickly and easily to transform your scissor lift trolley and create a Chapel Bier or Cataphalque came about when I was working as a funeral director/manager. I found that as we began to see more cases of obese bodies that required oversize coffins we were struggling more than usual to safely lift them.
"I had a responsibility to my staff to provide a safe workplace and this lifting was creating a manual handling challenge of finding ways to prevent muscle strains caused by lifting these excessive weights. Often the only solution was to call in extra staff to assist with the lifting prior to and after the funeral service, but at times co-ordinating the lifts still proved to be extremely physically difficult. The clinical look of the trolley then had to be addressed, sometimes using a plain sheet or material pinned around the trolley to disguise it. I felt the whole process was unnecessarily time consuming, stressful, adhoc and unprofessional. I was never really satisfied with this presentation of the deceased to be viewed for their funeral service."

I chose the name ImageLifter™ for the scissor lift trolley because the funeral director can place photos (Image) of the deceased onto the Designer Panels, which attach to the scissor lift trolley (Lifter). You then have a multifunctional lifting unit that also looks beautiful in the chapel, or anywhere suitable for a viewing of the deceased and reduces the number of times the coffin or casket needs to be transferred.
The Designer Panels provides an elegant and professional platform for viewing of the deceased. It provides the perfect setting to further personalise the service with the addition of photos of the deceased attached to the panels.

Handling and Storage
- The Designer Panels are lightweight and can be moved and fitted to the ImageLifter™ trolley easily and quickly by one person. The Designer Panels are water proof for graveside services. They can be stored flat, or on their ends in a space only 600mm wide. They should be stored inside, out of direct sunlight in a convenient location.
- Easy clean - Wipe clean with a damp sponge and light detergent - do not scrub or use bleach or strong detergents.
- Fabrication - Your Designer Panels are manufactured from heavy-duty lightweight ABS and should provide years of use with careful handling and storage.
